On August 22 2021, singer-songwriter Seori released her new single, 'Dive with you', featuring eaJ (Day 6's Jae). Seori has risen to popularity in the Korean R&B genre for her angelic voice and more recently for her collab with TXT for their song '0X1=LOVESONG'. 'Dive with you' was written and composed by Seori, Graphix and Jae.
I first heard this duo when they collaborated on the song 'it just is'. That's when I discovered their angelic voices that fit so well together. Their voices are complemented by Keshi's Strat. Another brilliant artist.
There's a sense of longing behind Seori and Jae's voices in 'Dive with you'. Their voices are paired beautifully with an angelic backtrack of various vocals. The lyrics talk about a couple longing for each other. It expresses how much they truly love one another and how one sees the relationship as their paradise.
The music video complements the tone of the song with its blue and white undertone aesthetic. The beach was the perfect choice for the main visuals of the music video. The actors executed their roles beautifully and successfully made me jealous T^T.

We received various videos for this song. A live version located at the same beach of the music video, 2 lyric videos, and a storyboard version. I adore the art provided in lyric video 1 and in the storyboard version. The art is by, Deisa, a freelance illustrator and graphic designer based in Los Angeles, California. She also worked on the music video 'it just is'. Her story of how she came to work with eaJ is truly inspiring. I recommend you read her interview with bandwagon.
I truly adore this song. I already added it to my summer playlist. I hope to see more collaborations between Seori and eaJ in the near future and I can't wait to see what Deisa's next project will be.
